How do I create a client?

The following page shows how to create a client using FACTURAgem. Foremost, you need to sign in the application. Once logged, click the 'CLIENTS' button of the header menu to access your client's list. Click then on the 'NEW CLIENT' button that you'll find at the top right corner of this list. The new client formulary is composed of an accordion menu which will permit you to fill the contact data, the identification numbers, the adress, the notes and the discounts related to the customer.

Contact data

Fill here the business name, the contact person, the contact email and the phone number of the client. The business name only will appear on the invoice.

Identification Numbers

Depending of the country, companies are given an identification number and a tax registration number. This part of the formulary permits you to fill the wordings and the values of these two data (company number type, company number, tax number type and tax number). These data will appear on the invoice.

This part of the formulary let you fill the address of the company's client: a complete address, a city, a postal code, a state and a country.

Notes and Discounts

You can apply a discount percentage to all the invoices of the concerned client. Fill the 'Discount (%)' field to do so. This data will automatically appear on an invoice everytime you select this client. You will then be able to remove or modify the discount percentage directly from the invoice if you don't want it to be applied to a specific invoice. Modifying or removing the discount percentage will only affect the invoice and never the client data.

You can use the 'Notes' field to comment something about the client. This comment will never be displayed on the invoices.
